Alex Samaras has worked at Uni Systems since 2016, starting as an Application Support Specialist from August 2016 to December 2017. They then transitioned to roles as a Microsoft Windows System Administrator and Sharepoint Administrator starting in January 2018. Currently, Alex holds the position of DevOps Engineer, which they started in September 2021. Prior to Uni Systems, Alex worked at L.I.N.G Internet Point as a Network Administrator from May 2011 to November 2011. They also had a role as a Member of a Fault Management Team at Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation from October 2010 to March 2011, where their responsibilities included coordinating, planning, and supervising equipment construction and activation works.

Alex Samaras has a Master's degree in Computer Network Security from Liverpool John Moores University, which was obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, Alex obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the Technological Educational Institute of Larissa, which was earned from 2004 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Alex has obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in September 2021, SharePoint 2016: Installation and Configuration from LinkedIn in August 2020, Michigan ECCE from The University of Michigan in May 2008, and TOEFL from The TOEFL® test in July 2013.
