Julie Watkins, GAICD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Julie'smost recent position was as the Chief People Officer at UniSuper, a large industry superannuation fund. Prior to that, they served as an Executive- People on a contract basis at HESTA. Julie also held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at AIA and served as the Global Talent Director on a contract at Treasury Wine Estates. Earlier in their career, they worked at GlaxoSmithKline, where they held multiple roles including VP Human Resources, Asia Pacific, Talent, Learning & OD Director, Asia Pacific, Talent, Learning & OD Manager, Australia, and HR Manager. Julie also has experience in HR and Tax roles at KPMG and started their career as an HR Associate at Coles Group.

Julie Watkins, GAICD, has a diverse education history. In 1999, they attended Monash University and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a major in HR & OD, completing their studies in 2001. While at Monash University, Julie also participated in a one-week intensive business course at INSEAD in Singapore in 2000. Additionally, they completed a Bachelor of Business Management with a major in HR at Monash University. Julie Watkins later pursued further professional development through the Australian Institute of Company Directors, where they became a Graduate of the Institute of Company Directors in 2018.
