Michael Rayner is an experienced IT professional with a diverse background in desktop support and engineering. Currently serving as a Desktop Support Engineer at Uniserve Group since September 2020, Michael provides support to multiple sites across the UK and internationally. Previously, Michael worked as an EUC Field Engineer for Peabody, supporting numerous remote sites, and as a Desktop Support Analyst for Retail Assist, handling support for multiple brands. Michael’s earlier roles include IT Support Engineer and IT Operator at Carpetright PLC, and Operations Officer for the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, where responsibilities included operating an IBM mainframe and developing disaster recovery procedures. Initial experience gained at Tesco as a General Assistant and early career exposure through the Career Trainee program at the London Borough provided foundational knowledge in customer service and local government operations.
