Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for educational technology. At SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to the development of hardware and firmware for DViT interactive whiteboards and related devices. Previous roles include electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on design and repair for educational devices, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, working on control systems for forestry equipment. Additionally, Chris has experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting electronics courses. Chris holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
