Rene Meissner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data architecture and analytics. Currently serving as the Group Data Platform Lead at UNIQA Insurance Group AG since August 2022, Rene previously held the position of Lead Enterprise Architect Data at Insurance, overseeing a comprehensive enterprise data strategy across 17 countries in Central and Eastern Europe. As the founder of OpenDGPS, a citizens' initiative for crowd-based Differential GPS stations, and through various freelance roles, including Researcher and Senior Web Analyst, Rene has consistently demonstrated expertise in developing innovative data solutions. Previous positions at prominent companies such as Razorfish Germany, comScore, and interactive tools GmbH involved creating automated reporting systems and enhancing business processes for high-profile clients. Rene Meissner holds a Diplom Sozialwissenschaftler in Sociology from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
