Alin Kalam is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of AI Coordination & Market Intelligence at UNIQA Insurance Group since September 2021, where leadership encompasses the Market Intelligence Unit and the AI Chapter, focusing on decision intelligence and AI implementation across the organization. Prior to this, Alin held the position of Head of Retail Market Intelligence & Data Strategy at UNIQA, concentrating on market understanding through data-driven initiatives. Previous roles include Strategic BI & Analytics Lead at Lufthansa Group, Big Data Officer at BAWAG P.S.K., and Head of IT & Management Consultant at TCI Consult GmbH. Alin Kalam also engages in academia as a Technology Evangelist and part-time professor across international universities. Education credentials include an MSc in Engineering Management from Technische Universität Wien, a Global Executive MBA from Central European University, a BSc in Astrophysics from the University of Vienna, and an Ing. in Computer Science from Higher Technical Institute (HTL Wien West).
