Kaan Yigit is a Software Engineer at Getir since June 2023, where Kaan focuses on expanding the subscription feature across multiple countries and implementing backend adjustments using Go. Previously, Kaan completed an internship at Getir, integrating subscription functionality into the app while participating in agile sprints and conducting QA testing. Kaan also serves as Vice President, Intellectual at Phi Kappa Theta Illinois Beta Delta, overseeing various support committees and managing a significant operational budget. Additionally, Kaan contributes as Senior Course Staff and Academic Engagement Chair at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, mentoring new course assistants and ensuring quality in course deliverables. Kaan's early experience includes an Engineering and Management internship at TYT, modeling solar systems and developing software interfaces. Kaan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has a strong educational background with experiences at prestigious institutions.
