Mark Johnstone currently serves as a Board Member and Senior Independent Director, as well as Chair of the Remuneration and Audit Committees at Unipart Group since October 2023. Prior to this role, Johnstone was the Group Chief Executive at BBA Aviation plc and subsequently Signature Aviation plc, overseeing a significant $5.7 billion acquisition by a consortium in June 2021. From 2008 to 2018, Johnstone held multiple executive leadership positions at BBA Aviation plc, including Group Corporate Development Director and President & COO of BBA Aviation Global Engine Services. Johnstone's earlier experience includes roles at GKN plc focused on Aerospace M&A and as CFO for OffHighway. Academic credentials include education from Harvard Business School, ICAEW, University of Bristol, and Charterhouse School.
