James Ansell has a wealth of experience in the finance industry. James began their career in 2002 as a Transaction Services Executive at Grant Thornton LLP. In 2004, they moved to EY as an Executive Transaction Services. In 2006, they joined Deloitte as an Assistant Director and Senior Manager Transaction Services. In 2015, they were hired by WorldRemit as a Finance Director and Head of Commercial Finance. In 2019, they were appointed VP of Finance at Wefarm. In 2021, they took on the role of Head of Finance at Heygo. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Union54 (YC S21).

James Ansell obtained their FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. James also attended the University of Bath from 1997 to 2001, where they studied International Management and German.
