Julie Stein, AICP, currently serves as the Executive Director of the Union Square Partnership since July 2023. Previously, Julie held multiple executive roles at the New York City Economic Development Corporation from November 2010 to May 2023, including Executive Director of the "New" New York Panel, where Julie led a 59-member panel of civic leaders in a major engagement process. As Senior Vice President of Asset Management, Julie co-managed a department overseeing more than 220 properties and developed significant public-private partnership strategies. Julie's extensive experience in real estate development and urban planning is supported by academic credentials from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in City Planning and Urban Design, and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Brown University.
