Dean Riskas is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private placement of debt and equity, particularly in technology M&A. As a Partner at Union Square Advisors since January 2012, Riskas has leveraged a strong foundation in venture debt from a tenure as Managing Director and President, North America, at TriplePoint Capital from November 2005 to December 2011. Prior to that, Riskas founded Atherton Vista Capital Corporation, focusing on leveraged privatizations of US municipal assets, and co-founded Trinity Advisors, Inc. Riskas also held senior leadership roles, including Senior Vice President at Comdisco Financial Services and Vice President at Bank of America. Riskas holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UCLA.
