Kenneth Cohen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fundraising, advocacy, and law. Currently serving as the Senior Major Gifts Officer at the Union for Reform Judaism since May 2019, Kenneth focuses on cultivating and stewarding major donors for initiatives in social justice, youth engagement, and connections to Israel. As the Associate Regional Director for J Street, Kenneth engages local leaders in advocacy concerning Israel and the Middle East while driving the organization's mission. Previously, Kenneth held the position of President at Temple Ner Tamid, overseeing operations for a 500-family synagogue. Kenneth’s legal background includes roles as a Partner and Senior Trial Attorney at Jacoby & Meyers, where significant jury verdicts were achieved, and earlier experience as a public defender in New Jersey, demonstrating a commitment to public interest law. Kenneth holds a JD from Rutgers Law School and a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University.
