Noel McNamara is an experienced rugby coach currently serving as the Entraineur d'attaque for Union Bordeaux Bègles since July 2023. Prior to this role, Noel held various coaching positions including Attack & Backs Coach at The Sharks (Pty) Ltd and multiple leadership roles at Leinster Rugby, where responsibilities spanned from Academy Manager to Head Coach of Leinster U20 and Development teams. Noel also contributed significantly to the Irish Rugby Football Union as Head Coach for the National U20 team and National Schools Head Coach. Additionally, Noel gained valuable coaching experience with UCD RFC and Clongowes Wood, along with managerial duties at Adventure World Summer Camps. An education background in Maths and PE from the University of Limerick complements Noel's coaching expertise, along with a foundation in teaching from St. Joseph's Secondary School.
