Marlon Cadena is an experienced professional in safety, health, and supply chain management, currently serving as Jefe de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional at Unacem Ecuador since January 2013. Marlon's expertise encompasses the management of security systems, implementation of national prevention programs, and adherence to safety standards within the Lafarge group. Prior to this role, Marlon held multiple positions at LafargeHolcim, including Jefe de Supply Chain y Seguridad en Transporte and Coordinador de Seguridad en Transporte, where responsibilities ranged from supply chain restructuring to road safety initiatives. Marlon began the career at Martinizing as Gerente Zona Norte, steering operations in the northern region of Ecuador. Marlon holds a Master’s in Labor Risk Management and an MBA with a focus on Marketing, among other relevant certifications in health and safety.
