Ivan Porritt is an experienced professional in the engineering and construction sectors, currently serving as a Technical Consultant at the Ministry of Works since September 2023, focusing on health and safety, emergency first aid, personal protective equipment, and plant tools and equipment. Prior to this role, Ivan held the position of Operations Contract Manager at UNIMAC, overseeing large-scale surfacing and civil engineering projects in Saudi Arabia since June 2023, and worked as a Surfacing Contract Manager at COLAS from August 2022 to June 2023. Ivan's career includes significant experience with the Falkland Islands Government as a Roads Engineer, where responsibilities included managing public works activities, and roles in senior contract management, project management, and engineering across various companies, including Dal Sterling Group PLC and GAUFF GmbH. Ivan holds a degree in Quarry and Road Surface Engineering from Doncaster College, completed between 1996 and 1999.
