Etienne Montet currently serves as a researcher at UniLaSalle since February 2023. Prior to this role, Montet was a project manager in wood chemistry and energy at Xylofutur, where responsibilities included managing innovation projects and organizing events for the forest-wood chain in France. Montet completed a PhD thesis at ADEME while conducting research at the LGP2 in Grenoble from October 2017 to January 2021. Academic achievements include a Master’s thesis at the University of Maine focusing on oxygen delignification in softwood kraft pulp, as well as various internships at Abengoa and Smurfit Kappa. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Université Grenoble Alpes, a Master's in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from DTU, and a Master's in General Engineering from Centrale Méditerranée.
