Matthew Goodwin has a diverse work experience in various roles. Matthew started their career at Staples as a Customer Service Lead, where they managed selling floor activities and coached sales associates. After that, they joined Apple Retail as an Expert, where they displayed leadership in sales and product knowledge. Matthew then became a Genius at Apple, providing technical support and resolutions to customers' problems. Matthew later joined Amazon Lab126 as a Technical Support Engineer before transitioning to a role as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Matthew recently joined Unified Office, Inc. as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where they are responsible for creating quality assurance best practices and collaborating with different teams.

Matthew Goodwin attended Middlesex Community College from 2002 onwards, studying Computer Science. Matthew then transferred to the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2004 to pursue a degree in Graphic Design. Throughout their education, Goodwin obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified Office from Microsoft in July 2017, Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) from Apple in October 2015, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) from Apple in March 2015, Apple Certified Portable Technician (ACPT) from Apple in October 2014, and Apple iLife and iWork Associate Certification from Apple in July 2012.
