Alexander Kölpin has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries. Alexander is currently the Managing Director at seed + speed Ventures, a PreSeed and Seed Venture Capital firm focusing on B2B software startups in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Alexander's role involves making investment decisions and managing the company's operations. Prior to this, they co-founded Unicorn.Berlin, a shared office provider, with the aim to offer flexible and affordable workspaces. In addition, Alexander served as an Advisor at Brickblock, a blockchain-based real estate investment platform. Alexander also held various roles at WestTech Ventures GmbH, including Managing Director & Partner, where they primarily invested in technology-oriented startups in the PreSeed and Seed stages. Alexander was also a Co-Founder and Executive Boardmember of German Startups Group Berlin AG, overseeing the company's operations. Alexander co-founded BerlinWebWeek.de, a platform for web-related events in Berlin, and they worked as the Head of Business Unit Media, ICT & Creative Industries at Berlin Partner. Prior to that, Alexander gained experience as a Project Manager at inubit AG, where they were involved in business development, B2B sales, consulting, and project management of internet and software projects. Alexander also worked as a Consultant at Arthur Andersen.
Alexander Kölpin has obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in European Studies from the University of Exeter. Alexander also holds a Magister degree in Sociology from Jagellonian University in Cracow, Poland, as well as a Diplom-Volkswirt degree in Economics from the Free University of Berlin, Germany. Additionally, Alexander has a magister degree in sociologii from Jagiellonian University and a Diplom degree in Volkswirtschaft from Freie Universität Berlin.
