Austin Hipes serves as the Chief Technologist and Vice President of Engineering at UNICOM Engineering, where responsibilities include developing an integrated approach to leverage diverse hardware and software products to meet customer needs, as well as overseeing management and skills development across various engineering teams. Prior experience includes roles as Vice President of Technology and Director of Field Engineering at NEI and Arrow Electronics, respectively, in addition to serving as a Senior Field Application Engineer at Wyle Electronics. Austin Hipes holds a degree from The University of Texas at Dallas, completed between 1994 and 1998.
