Gurpreet Kindra

Gurpreet Kindra has extensive experience in public health, specifically in pediatric TB/HIV care. From September 2015 to September 2023, Gurpreet served as Pediatric Lead at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, managing projects and advising on budgets for pediatric programs under CDC SA and PEPFAR. Prior to this role, Gurpreet was a Sub Investigator/Principal Investigator at The Wits Reproductive Health and HIV Institute from March 2011 to September 2015, overseeing clinical management and stakeholder communication in research studies. Gurpreet also worked as a Research Clinician/Senior Medical Officer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from April 1996 to February 2011, coordinating research projects and clinical management of patients. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pediatrics and Child Health from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, a Master's in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and an MBBS from Berhampur University.
