Asim Latif currently serves as the Education Advisor for Edtech and Non-Formal Education at UNICEF since March 2024. Prior to this role, Asim was the Global Distance Education Coordinator for the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) from February 2021 to March 2024. Asim has extensive experience in education-focused positions, including serving as Deputy Team Lead at Acted for the Girls Education Campaign Fund and as a Senior Consultant for DAI(TABEER)/Triple Line Consulting/Behbood Foundation. Previous roles also include Program Manager/Blended Learning Advisor at Adam Smith International, Innovation Fund Specialist at DAI, and Education Program Manager for Developments in Literacy USA. Asim began a career in education coordination at Save the Children and has held various positions, including Program Officer at Techure Foundation and Risk Assessment & Verification Officer at the British High Commission in Pakistan. Educational qualifications include a BBA (Hons) in Project Management and an MBA in Economics & Management from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology.
