Xicheng Yuan is an experienced professional in the field of humanitarian architecture and project management, currently serving as an Associate Shelter Officer at UNHCR since September 2024. Prior roles include Roving Sub-national ES/NFI Cluster Coordinator at IOM, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating sectoral assessments, strengthening cluster coordination, and facilitating partner training. Xicheng's background features a variety of positions across organizations such as Shelter Centre, UN-Habitat, and various architectural firms, contributing to shelter projects, urban planning, and concept note development. Xicheng holds a Master's degree in Governing the Large Metropolis from Sciences Po and a Master's degree in Urban Studies from Politecnico di Milano, along with a Licence in Architecture from the China Academy of Art.
