Walter Barongo has extensive experience in information and communication technology within various organizations. Currently serving as the Digital Learning Programme Manager at UNHCR since July 2022, Walter previously held positions such as Project Officer Digitization at Computers For Schools Kenya and ICT Specialist/Project Coordinator at Technology Partners Ltd. Responsibilities have included designing and implementing ICT systems, managing IT resources, and leading project planning and execution. Walter's career began as an Assistant System Administrator at Kings Consolidated, and further included work as an ICT Officer at Kenyatta National Hospital. Walter holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University, alongside diplomas and certifications in Project Management and Strategic Management and Leadership from the Kenya Institute of Management.
