Ruoxi Wang, PhD, currently serves as an intern at the International Telecommunication Union since October 2023, focusing on research related to the application of artificial intelligence in delivering humanitarian assistance in Africa. Wang has held the position of Research Fellow at the University of St Andrews' Center for Global Law and Governance since September 2018, where involvement includes chairing workshops and presenting academic papers. Previously, Wang has also contributed as a Research Collaborator at Alibaba Group, authored a policy report on EU cloud computing policies, and led the St Andrews Chinese Students and Scholars Association, promoting community support during the Covid-19 pandemic. Wang holds a PhD from the University of St Andrews, as well as a Master's degree in International Law from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor's in Law from Renmin University of China.
