Ricardo de Guimarães Pinto

Chief Of Protocol at UNESCO

Ricardo de Guimarães Pinto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international relations and diplomacy, currently serving as Chief of Protocol ad interim at UNESCO since September 2006. In addition to this role, Ricardo holds several key positions within UNESCO, including Cabinet Coordination Officer for Director-General Audrey Azoulay and Programme Manager of the Information For All Programme. Prior to joining UNESCO, Ricardo was a Diplomat Apprentice at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and worked in communication roles at Groupe DANONE and Sistema Brasil Nordeste de Comunicação. Education includes a Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from Schiller International University, a D.E.L.E. Superior in Spanish from Universidad de Salamanca, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Modern Languages from Denison University.
