Jeffrey Lochard is a seasoned communication professional with extensive experience in promoting human rights, freedom of expression, and media independence. At UNESCO since July 2015, Jeffrey serves as a Senior Communication Consultant and Programme Specialist, focusing on strengthening community radios and advocating for journalists' safety. Prior experience includes a role as Public Information Assistant at the United Nations and expertise as Directeur de Communication at Alpha Communication. Additionally, Jeffrey has contributed as a Professor of Communication Strategies and has experience in legal advocacy. Educational accomplishments include a Master's degree in Human Rights and multiple qualifications in communication and international law.
