Monica Rebreanu serves as the Climate Review Lead for the Net Zero Banking Alliance and Principles of Responsible Banking at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) since July 2023. Previously, Monica held the position of Senior Advisor for Climate Risk and ESG at IMPACT plus from July 2019 to July 2023, focusing on the implementation of climate change and sustainable finance in financial services. Monica's expertise extends to roles such as Sustainable Finance Lead at Quantis, Director of Credit Risk at EY, and Director of Financial Markets at PwC, where significant contributions were made to risk management and regulatory compliance post-financial crisis. Earlier career experiences include serving as Senior Controller at ENGIE Belgium and as an Auditor and Consultant at PwC. Monica's educational background includes attendance at Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management.
