Layalee Ramahi is an experienced professional in sustainability and finance, currently serving as the North America Regional Lead at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) since August 2023. With a robust background in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy, Layalee held the position of Associate Director, ESG Strategy & Reporting at Corporate Citizenship from February 2022 to July 2023. Prior to that, Layalee served as the North America Network Coordinator at UNEP FI from April 2019 to February 2022. Additional experience includes consulting in business sustainability and ESG strategy, as well as leading business strategy and sustainability efforts at Tawreeq Holdings. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Climate and Society from Columbia University, along with various degrees focused on sustainability, business administration, and management information systems.
