Nizar El Kotob

Research Assistant at UNDP

Nizar El Kotob is an experienced professional with a diverse background in research and program management within humanitarian and development sectors. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at UNDP since July 2024, Nizar previously held similar roles at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia and the FAO. Earlier experiences include positions at the Institute for War & Peace Reporting, International Rescue Committee, and Ana Aqra Association as well as entrepreneurial experience as the Owner and Co-founder of Amber Honey. Nizar's career began in brand management and marketing with roles at Mondelēz International and Henkel. Nizar holds a Master of Science in International Humanitarian Affairs from the University of York and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the American University of Beirut.
