Marjan Blumberg is an experienced strategic communications and advocacy consultant currently working with UNDP's Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy on global campaigns such as ‘Don't Choose Extinction’. With a diverse background, Marjan serves as a member of the SXSW Pitch Advisory Board and has provided senior advisory services through Marjan B. Consultancy, focusing on startup ecosystem growth, strategic communications, and business development for notable clients including various Dutch ministries and organizations. Previous roles include Project Lead for the Startup in Residence program in The Hague, US Business Developer for Creative Holland, and Senior Economic Officer at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York. Marjan's career also encompasses leadership in international communications for NYC & Company and significant production roles with The Associated Press, showcasing a strong foundation in international relations backed by a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and additional study in International Relations at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
