Liam Bullingham is an experienced professional in academic and research services, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Academic and Research Services at the University of Essex since August 2023. Previously, Liam held various roles at Edge Hill University, including Head of Research Support Services and Research Support Librarian, focusing on scholarly communications, open access, research data management, and research metrics. As a consultant for Underline, Liam provides expertise in UX and design for a digital library initiative. Past positions include Liaison Librarian at the University of Sheffield, Information Adviser at Sheffield Hallam University, and Knowledge Management Resources Assistant at DLA Piper, among others. Liam possesses a Master's degree in Librarianship from the University of Sheffield and a Bachelor's degree in Literary Studies from the University of Glasgow.
