Steven Jian is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology executive with extensive experience in the gaming industry. As the Founder and CEO of Uncommon Games since October 2021, Steven focuses on fostering meaningful player interactions. Prior to this, Steven founded Coinflip Studios, which specialized in developing games for emerging technologies such as Facebook Messenger and Oculus Quest. Steven also co-founded Rocket Games, Inc., where as CTO, contributed to its growth into a leading independent social casino game developer. Earlier in the career, Steven served as a Principal Software Engineer at Zynga, managing multiple teams and overseeing significant game development projects, and worked at Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer on the Windows 7 team. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
