Rig Patel has extensive experience in the field of medicine, particularly in gastroenterology, with a prominent role at UNC REX Healthcare since 2006, where responsibilities include serving as a Board of Trustees member, Medical Director and Chairman of the UNC Rex Digestive Healthcare, and Director of the Endoscopic Ultrasound Program. Patel is also active in governance roles within UNC Physicians Network and held various leadership positions within UNC Health from 2014 to 2022.
