Diana Afonso has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Diana started their career in 2008 as a Library Assistant at Municipio de Vieira do Minho. After that, they worked at Able Translations Ltd., where they held multiple roles, including Customer Service Representative, Customer Service Manager, and Project Manager. At Able Translations, Diana gained experience in coordinating and managing customer service departments and improving organizational processes and policies. In 2018, they joined Unbabel, initially as a Senior Customer Happiness Specialist, and later as a Customer Happiness Team Leader. Their responsibilities at Unbabel included coordinating and managing the customer support department, improving support services, and implementing policies to support organizational goals. Diana then progressed to the role of Head of Customer Happiness, where they further developed their skills in customer satisfaction and happiness. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Technical Support at Unbabel.
Diana Afonso attended Universidade de Aveiro from 2009 to 2014. Diana studied Business Management from 2009 to 2010, and then Languages and Business Affairs from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Diana obtained the AXELOS ITIL® 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in 2019 and attended industry sessions on digital education in 2017.
