Michelle Bulterys, PhD, MPH, currently serves as the Liaison for the UNAIDS - UW Center for AIDS Research Training Program, a position held since April 2024. With a strong background in public health and epidemiology, Michelle has been a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Washington's Department of Global Health since September 2018, contributing to numerous projects focused on HIV and COVID-19. Previous experience includes consulting roles at UNAIDS, PATH Diagnostics, and FIND, as well as internships with UNAIDS and the Stanford University School of Medicine. Academically, Michelle holds a PhD and MPH from the University of Washington and a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Global Health from UC San Diego, complemented by international educational experiences in South Africa, China, and Zambia.
