Christopher Martin is an accomplished professional in the field of urban design and planning, currently serving as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Urban Movement since February 2011. Martin holds significant roles including Design Code Pathfinders Programme Expert for the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, Vice Chair of Living Streets, and Fellow at The RSA. Additional expertise is demonstrated through positions as Specialist Design Expert at the Design Council and Peer Reviewer for The Journal of Public Space, among others. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Public Space Design, an MSc in Urban Design and Planning, and a BSc in Urban Design, Planning, and Management, all from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
