Robert Njoroge is an experienced electrical engineer with a robust background in renewable energy and electric mobility. Currently serving as a Global Thematic Working Group Member for E2&3 Wheelers at the UN Environment Programme since December 2021, Robert is also involved with the IEC Sustainable Electrified Transportation-Systems Committee and the IEC SEG 11 Future Sustainable Transportation. As a Senior Standards Engineer at the Kenya Bureau of Standards, Robert has managed the Electric Mobility National Committee. Previous roles include positions as a Student Mentor for Renewable Energy at the University of Hull, and various engineering internships focused on electrical systems and network operations. Robert holds multiple degrees including a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nairobi, an MSc in Energy Engineering from the University of Hull, and is currently pursuing a degree in Renewable Energy Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
