Panna Siyag has extensive experience in environmental management and policy development, currently serving as a Program Officer at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) since February 2010, where responsibilities include leading land-sector mitigation activities under the Sustainable Development Mechanisms programme. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Program Officer, focusing on forest carbon quantification standards, and Chief Conservator of Forest & TA to PCCF at the Forest Department of the Government of Rajasthan, supporting the Head of Forest Department with personnel management. Panna also held roles as Conservator of Forest & TA to PCCF and Conservator of Forests (Wildlife), contributing to biodiversity conservation policies and management of protected areas in Rajasthan. Educational qualifications include a Brevet d'Administration Publique in Public Administration from ENA (2003), an MSc in Forestry from the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy (1988), and an MTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (1986).
