Luan Harford is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Legal Officer at UN Climate Change since March 2022. Prior to this role, Luan worked as a Legal Officer for IOM - UN Migration from November 2020 to March 2022 and for the United Nations Mission in South Sudan from September 2018 to October 2020. Luan has also gained valuable experience through internships with the UN Environment Programme and the Government of Grenada, as well as working as an Associate Attorney at Ventour & Co. Luan’s educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Law at the University of Geneva, a Master’s degree in International Law from Wuhan University, and a Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School, complemented by a Bachelor of Laws Degree from The University of the West Indies and an Associate's degree from T.A. Marryshow Community College.
