Gopal Raj Joshi has been a dedicated professional in the field of environmental management and climate change since 2003. Currently serving as a Programme Officer at UN Climate Change since January 2011, Gopal manages Biennial Update Report (BUR) reporting and analysis, supporting global cooperation to combat climate change. Prior roles at UN Climate Change included Associate Programme Officer positions focusing on IT systems, nationally appropriate mitigation actions, and project assessment for sustainable development. Gopal's experience also includes serving as a Research Officer at Winrock International, and coordinating the Clean Air Network Nepal, contributing to air quality initiatives in the country. Gopal holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Pokhara University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Tribhuvan University.
