Karl-Erik Johansson has over three decades of experience in innovation management and business advisory roles, currently serving as the International Leader and Business Advisor at Uminova Innovation AB since January 1997, with a primary focus on the exploitation of academic research results and innovations, particularly in EU countries. Prior to this, Karl-Erik held the position of Financial Officer at the County Administration of Westerbotten, where duties included managing finances and investments for start-ups and SMEs. Karl-Erik also founded and led Biomonitor AB, a biotechnology spin-off from Umeå University, and worked as a Technology Transfer Officer at Umeå University, facilitating the commercialization of research findings. Karl-Erik earned a B.Sc. in International Business Administration and Organization/Leadership from Umeå University between 1985 and 1988.
