Dr. Ravi Pendse currently serves as the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at the University of Michigan since August 2018. Prior to this position, Dr. Pendse held the role of Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Brown University from September 2013 to August 2018, where collaboration with dedicated staff in Computing and Information Services was a key focus. Before that, Dr. Pendse was at Wichita State University, initially serving as Chief Information Officer and subsequently as Vice President for Information Technology and CIO from June 2005 to August 2013, fostering strong partnerships within the Kansas community. Dr. Pendse also held the position of Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research at Wichita State University. Dr. Pendse earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Wichita State University.
