Dimitra Panagou is an Associate Professor of Robotics and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan, holding this position since September 2014. Prior to this role, Dimitra served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2012 to August 2014, focusing on multi-objective control for multi-agent robotic networks. Dimitra has also held visiting scholar positions at the GRASP Lab at the University of Pennsylvania, where work included distributed task assignment for multi-robot systems and coordinated control for nonholonomic robots, as well as at the University of Delaware, working on path and motion planning for nonholonomic vehicles. Dimitra's academic qualifications include a PhD and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, obtained between 2000 and 2012.
