Joseph Cantoni currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at the University of Maryland University College, where responsibility includes overseeing the strategic plan and IT systems that support students and staff. Prior to this role, Joseph held various positions at DeVry Education Group, including Vice President of Operational Excellence and Vice President of Shared Services and Innovation, focusing on IT and business process improvement strategies. Earlier experience includes positions at Sikorsky Aircraft and General Electric as a Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Design Engineer, respectively, specializing in avionics and control systems. Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Widener University, as well as a Doctor of Law degree.
