Fernando Miralles-Wilhelm is a distinguished academic and leader in environmental science and sustainability. Currently serving as President and Professor at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science and Vice Chancellor for Sustainability at the University System of Maryland since July 2024, Fernando has held several significant positions, including Dean and Professor at George Mason University and Lead Scientist for Global Water at The Nature Conservancy.
