Tabish Ashfaq is a Machine Learning Research Scientist at Umaneo since August 2021, previously serving as an NSERC USRA Researcher at Concordia University from May 2020 to August 2021. During the tenure at Concordia, Tabish developed a Genetic Programming algorithm in Python for designing Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) aimed at image segmentation and evaluated the results on various benchmark datasets, including ISBI 2012, ISIC 2018, and DRIVE. Tabish holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Concordia University, earned between January 2017 and April 2021.
