Jayant Singh has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jayant is currently the Head of Human Resources at UltraTech Cement since 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Human Resources at Birla Carbon from 2015 to 2021, where they developed and executed HR and ER strategies and successfully designed employee engagement initiatives.

From 2010 to 2014, Jayant worked at UltraTech Cement as the Senior Manager HR - Special Projects and Grinding Unit HR Head. Jayant briefly served as the Head of Human Resources at DCM Sriram Consolidated Limited in 2010.

At Reliance Communications, they held various roles from 2006 to 2010 and was responsible for talent management, HR structures, and implementation of new norms. Jayant also worked at Reliance Industries Limited from 2002 to 2006 as an Assistant Manager HR, where they designed HR plans and developed key performance measures.

Jayant Singh completed their Master of Social Works (MSW) degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the University of Lucknow from 1989 to 1991. Jayant then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from GlobalNxt University -U21 from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, Jayant Singh also completed a six-month Executive Development Program (EDP) in Labour Laws from XLRI Jamshedpur.

In terms of additional certifications, Jayant Singh obtained "Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making" from LinkedIn in August 2020. Jayant also completed a certificate course on statistical tools applicable in HR from IHDB, Chennai. Furthermore, Jayant Singh participated in Internal Auditor Training Programs for EMS (Environmental Management Systems) from LRQA AMERICAS SUSTAINABILITY, INC. and QMS (Quality Management Systems) from TQMI, New Delhi, although the specific completion dates are not provided.
