Vinh Luu is a Data Scientist and System Analyst at Ultima Genomics since June 2023 and has also served as a Research Assistant at the Children's Hospital Oakland Research Institute since May 2019, where Vinh created the BIGSPIDR analysis software for genomic data of children with Type 1 Diabetes and developed an ETL pipeline in R for data aggregation from multiple countries. Previously, Vinh was a Bilingual Tutor at Abraham Lincoln High School from January 2017 to May 2018, supporting underprivileged ESL students by coordinating volunteer bilingual tutors and translating educational materials. Vinh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, attained in May 2022.
