Uzoma Nwabara is an accomplished electrochemist currently employed at UL Research Institutes since January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Characterization Engineer at Twelve from October 2021 to January 2024 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from November 2016 to August 2021, focusing on CO2 electroreduction and electrode design in collaboration with Royal Dutch Shell. Additional roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant for Thermodynamics at the University of Illinois, and multiple internships at BP, Air Products and Chemicals, and DTE Energy. Uzoma Nwabara holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
