James Feechan

Manufacturing Technician at UKBIC

James Feechan is an experienced Manufacturing Technician at UKBIC, responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining battery manufacturing equipment used for pouch and cylindrical cells since March 2022. Previously, James worked as an Engineering Apprentice at CAD CAM Automotive, collaborating with manufacturing engineers to develop engineering documents and assist in the commissioning of automated systems. James has gained valuable experience through roles at Tata Motors European Technical Centre Plc and Semcon, where practical skills in automotive engineering were developed. Additional experience includes participation in the Jaguar Land Rover Inspiring Futures programme and a brief tenure at Lear Corporationā€™s Trim Development Centre, where foundational knowledge in health and safety was acquired. Educational qualifications comprise a Higher National Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering from Coventry College and a BTEC Level 3 in Engineering from WMG Academy.
